Capturing Our Home
I’d daydreamed of this moments for years, both literally and figuratively.
I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to collaborate and create my dream home for my (equally dreamy) young family. What I never expected to come along with it was the connection and true and lasting relationships with so many talents and creatives along the way. Or perhaps I did, that has been somewhat of a constant in our ever-evolving and growing life.
Kelly Deck of Kelly Deck Design paired with Debb Fredrickson and I dreamed, edited and styled for several days to elevate my home to it’s highest potential for this shoot. Ema Peters was coming over to capture everything and we weren’t about to miss a moment. There were so many of them! I’m honoured to call these people dear friends now.
It was more fulfilling to stage this shoot and see the home I’d poured my heart and energy into come to fruition in all it’s glory. It’s meaningful, you know, to create beauty and a sense of home.
I can’t wait to be able to share this shoot with you. Until then my silly iphone photos snapped as I scuttled past moving flowers, pillows or remembering a found item I wanted to add at the last moment to a room will have to suffice.
